It was 6 years ago today that we drove up from the south of France where we'd had a camping holiday and where the Secheresse made the oak forests look like a sepia photograph, and having signed the Acte de Vente, Captain Sensible became the proud owner of a little bit of France. We celebrated by camping in the house that night.
Peculiarly, it was 4 years ago today that we moved from Sweetpea's house in UK to Village de Vaux. I'm sure we celebrated with a glass of wine and a lovely meal surrounded by our belongings but Sweetpea was recuperating from the op just three weeks before and not allowed to lift anything!!! Captain S was exhausted. We're still recuperating!!!!!
Today, more milestones on the journey of life.
