Homage to Marguerite

This is a scene that has not changed for many a year. Marguerite died this time last year aged 92 but her chickens live on, chooking in front of her front door. She lived here in the 21st century with no electricity and no running water! She read the daily newspaper every day and disliked Parisians because they always complained about her cockerel! Recently her daughter-in-law who feeds the chickens and the cats brought us about 3 kg of strawberries.
